At Norried's Painting, we specialize in custom paint mixing on-site, including expert color development and matching. With decades of experience across residential, commercial, retail, and custom projects, we bring craftsmanship and care to every job.
After Huey’s passing in 2001, his son Jon took the reins. With over 45 years of hands-on experience—and memories of riding along to job sites with his father as early as the 1960s—Jon continues to lead the company with the same dedication and integrity. Jon’s three children have also spent many years working in the family business, carrying the Norried tradition into a new generation.
Norried's Painting has proudly served the Bay Area for over 68 years. Our story began with Jim Norried, an Arkansas native who returned from World War II in the late 1940s and relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area. Jim started his career in industrial painting before transitioning to residential work and founding Norried's Painting in 1952.
Over time, four of Jim’s brothers joined him out west, including Huey Norried, who took over the business in 1962. Since then, Norried’s Painting has remained a true family operation, with many children and extended family members contributing to its growth and legacy.
